When I started shopping for cookware, I was looking for a set that would provide me with both quantity and quality. I found it in the Cuisinart Chef’s Classic Nonstick Cookware Set that came in a 17 piece set of hard anodized pans. I couldn’t believe the great price I found online for the cookware in the well-known name of Cuisinart. It has a 1-1/2, 2, and 3 quart lidded saucepans, 8 and 10 inch skillet, 12 inch skillet with lid, 4-quart lidded saut, 9-quart stockpot with lid, a 7-3/4 inch steamer insert with lid and a 9-1/2 pasta insert.

I’m not Italian but I love Italian food. Fixing lots of different types of pasta and the delicious sauces takes a variety of cookware and this Cuisinart cookware sethas all the right pieces for every dish I fix. The hard-anodized aluminum construction and Quantanium nonstick finish in combination with an aluminum core and titanium reinforcement provide it with the strength, durability, and even cooking surface that helps foods come out right. It also means that I don’t have a hard time cleaning up and trying to get sticky sauces off the cookware when the meal is over. Although I have to wash them by hand, they come clean with almost no effort on my part.

The riveted stainless-steel handles and break-resistant glass lids are two more features of this Cuisinart cookware set that add to their strength, versatility, and safety. All these features in combination with triple-layer construction make it a steal for the price. The non-stick interior means you can cook with less oil so that your foods are even healthier. The pieces that make up the set are a combination of all the most commonly used pots and pans while the pasta insert eliminates the need for a colander to drain pasta.

The bottom line is that this Cuisinart cookware set is a beautiful set and a great value. Although you may find matching pieces to go with this set, it isn’t likely that you will need to purchase anything else other than some non-metal cooking utensils. Each pan has its own lid even though some of them use the same size so you aren’t having to “borrow” from one to use the lid on another piece. Each of the seventeen piece set is a piece of cookware, not accessories, and each is a size that you will find useful in any type of cooking no matter what type of food you like to prepar!

A quality nonstick cookware set has long been on my wife and my list of wishes. Our 35 year old basic stainless pots and pans have been adequate but left a lot to be desired. We have been looking for a quality cookware set that we could afford, but the All-Clad’s and similar sets have been out of our price range.
