Logos are used by most companies to identify their brand. A correctly designed logo can cause a person to instantly recognize the business behind the logo. In order to have a successful, healthy company, you really need a logo that truly represents your business.

The way a company used to get a quality logo design was by spending thousands of dollars to have a graphic design company design a unique logo for their business. That is no longer the case, as now you can get a very affordable, custom logo designed for you online.

Logoworks is a trendsetter when it comes to online logo design firms. They are a division of Hewlett-Packard, and they posses the resources and ability to design an absolutely original, one of a kind logo for your business.

No small business has an excuse for not having a corporate logo, since Logoworks has logo design packages starting as low as $299. Their range of logo design packages means that there is something for every sized business.

When you use Logoworks, you are provided an initial number of original logo concepts for you to start with, and then you choose which design you want to go with. Once the decision is made, the original logo design is revised and you get a unique logo designed just for your business.

Depending on which logo design package you choose, you will have a certain number of logo designers working on your project. This ensures that you get a good selection of original logo concepts, so you can find the logo that suits your business.

What makes Logoworks unique is that you have the ability to actually pick up the telephone and talk to them about your logo design. Many places that offer cheap logos do not allow you to actually talk to somebody, so you only can do business with them using online means.

Look at Logoworks’ offerings if you are in need of a logo for your small business. A custom logo will set your company apart from those you compete with and will give you back much more than what the logo ended up costing you.

5 Tips to Avoid Information Overload in Internet Marketing

Jan 5, 2009 Author: Zachariah Scott | Filed under: Guerrilla Marketing

A career in internet marketing can be an exciting one. Being an entrepreneur and working from home can be the most rewarding experience. Massive opportunities are out there, and choosing one is difficult. Simply picking one route and sticking to it isn’t as easy as you may imagine. You choose your goal and make plans ” but if you’re not careful something else may interest you and take you off course. This can take you off track frequently, sometimes even once a week!

This constant mind changing and lack of direction is due to too much data being available on different subjects, and wanting to know and practice all of it. The trouble is ” the marketers who promote the information and learning courses are very skilled at making you want to buy their product above every one else’s, convincing you that you were never on track, and they hold the real secrets. This process, and resulting effects is simply known as information overload.

If you suffer from this common disorder among internet marketers, try taking these steps to put an end to the symptoms:

1. Learn something and take action right away: Don’t get caught in the trap of thinking you need to know everything about Internet marketing before you start taking action. When you learn something new, apply what you’ve learned before moving onto the next idea.

2. Mistakes are a learning opportunity: A lot of people who get stuck in learning mode are afraid to take action because they feel they’ll mess things up. Making mistakes is part of the learning and marketing process, so relish in your failures, learn from them and improve your marketing plan as a result.

3.) Learn like a sponge. When you apply yourself to a new course, or attend a seminar, absorb as much info as you can, but know that you don’t need to master (or even practice) every facet the information teaches. Remember there is only so much one individual or one business can do, or specialize on. Try to get the big picture when learning a new method. The details can come later ” after you have begun to take action.

4. Protect your email inbox: If you have subscribed to a large number of Internet marketing newsletters, you no doubt, receive a lot information and offers to buy new products. You don’t need all this information. Reduce your subscriptions just to a few key ones that have truly proven to be valuable to you.

5. Say no to more courses, ebooks, etc.: It doesn’t matter how much hype and excitement surrounds an information product launch. If you’re already suffering from information overload, you do NOT need another course. Put yourself on an Internet marketing course diet until you’ve started to take action on what you’ve already learned.

It’s very easy to become overloaded when trying to carve a career in internet marketing. But trust me ” you’re not alone. The answer is simple (and it’s not buying another ebook). Focus on one thing, and one thing only until you’re proficient at it. Remove all distractions, and ignore those shiny objects ” they will only prevent your success in the long run.

Opt Email List Marketing

Jan 5, 2009 Author: Jeff Dedrick | Filed under: Guerrilla Marketing

Business email marketing is the use of email to promote your products and services. This is one of the most flexible and influential type of direct marketing that is cheap and commands a quick response from your target audience. The flexibility comes from the fact that you can easily modify your message to your specific customers in a very cost-effective manner than in any other form of marketing.

Business email marketing should be planned with utmost care to make it interesting, pertinent and significant to your target audience. There are a few rules that you have to adhere to for successful and fruitful email marketing. First, you must always get the consent from your target audience before you email them. As much as it is illegal to send junk mail, it is also a turn off to your potential or existing clients. There is nothing as exasperating as an inbox clogged with unsolicited mails.

Another tip is to ensure your emails indicate clearly who you are and give your customers the opportunity to opt in or out of receiving emails from you in future. One of the best ways to have your target audience opting in is using incentives like special discounts to those who may sign up for your updates.

Another point is to venture into a targeted marketing campaign. Do not send emails indiscriminately to anyone on your emailing list, but focus your attention to sending mails to the right audience. The best way to do this is to manage the database of your clients by analyzing and categorizing them. Thanks to many Email Service Providers and email software, there are special tools available that make it easier for you to categorize, segment and even generate instant responses that shows when your customers have received and opened your emails.

Finally, you need to monitor the efficiency of your email marketing. You can do this by recording the amount of responses you have received and from what type of clients. This will help you in your future assessment of your email marketing. Weigh up the response rate which will be evident in the calls and replies you will receive. Normally, a response rate of 5% is viewed as strong for business email marketing.

An effective business email marketing strategy will create valuable relationship with new clients as well as heightening your relationship with your existing ones. This will be evident from the calls you will receive and the profit margins that will be subsequently created.

Generate Leads

Jan 5, 2009 Author: Jeff Dedrick | Filed under: Guerrilla Marketing

There are many different types of marketing. You can market online using traditional means such as banner advertising, text based ads, but the true powerhouse among online marketing methods is leads marketing. This juggernaut of a marketing tool has blasted its way on to the marketing scene and is here to stay. The power behind leads marketing is that it allows all your prospects to read about your product or service directly within their email box. Your product or service message is delivered right to their email, therefore there is no guess work involved with regards to estimating how much viewership your ad is receiving.

As always though, you need to be very selective with how you go about marketing using leads marketing. There are rules to follow if you decide to take on the task of bulk email marketing. You should always ensure that every lead you generate is truly a qualified lead and that the person has indeed opted in to receive information about your product or services. Another key aspect is to always give your prospects the option to unsubscribe from your list. These are all options that need to be implemented when you start an email marketing campaign.

When you dive into this form of marketing and decide that you’ll be using your own resources to create the mailing list, you need to ensure you have white-listed servers. Using your own servers to market to your email list requires in most cases require that you have a relationship with the top free email providers such as Yahoo.com, Hotmail.com, AOL.com, Gmail and the other major email hosts. It’s critical that you have a great relationship with these companies or you’ll find that your email will not be delivered or if delivered appears in the “Junk Mail” box.

When starting any kind of leads marketing campaign on your own, ensure you have a step by step plan .You’ll need a detail course of action, as there are quite a few steps needed to ensure that your marketing campaign is truly successful.

The Cure for Despair

Jan 5, 2009 Author: Patrick OBryan | Filed under: Guerrilla Marketing

During dinner the other night, one of the people in our group looked at me and asked the question I didn’t want to hear -

“How did you become homeless?”

By now most people have heard my story of being on the streets of Dallas in the late 1970s and struggling in poverty in Houston for many years after that. Some of it is explained in my new audioprogram, The Awakening Course.

But I had never explained exactly how I ended up in such dire circumstances.

When I answered the question at dinner, everyone at the table stared at me.

The woman who asked the question sat there with her mouth open and eyes un-blinking.

She asked, “Why have you never said this before?”

My friend Mark Ryan was sitting there, also staring, and said, “As long as I’ve known you, you’ve never told this story before. It’s riveting. This changes everything.”

Changes everything?

Riveting?

They all said I had to tell the story now.

“Given the current financial crisis and with people losing their homes and their jobs, this story needs to be told more than ever before,” Mark said.

I heard them and realized I agreed.

So here’s the story…

I knew I wanted to be an author when I was a teenager. I wanted to write books and plays that made people happy. Everywhere I looked I saw un-happy people. I believed I could help them with humor and stories.

During that time of the mid-1970s, I watched sports. I don’t today but back then the Dallas Cowboys were the rage. Roger Staubach and Tom Landry were heroes. I got caught up in the excitement and felt the place for me to make my name was in Dallas, Texas.

I lived in Ohio at the time. Born and raised there. I worked on the railroad as a trackman, doing heavy labor all day long, working weekends and summers since the age of five.

I saved my money, packed up my bag, and took a bus to Dallas. It took three days to get there.

I was lost in the big city, of course. Being born in a small town in Ohio didn’t prep me for the hustle and bustle of a city the size of Dallas.

Before long, I wanted out.

But I still wanted to be an author.

At that time major companies were building oil and gas pipelines in Alaska and the Middle East, and offering to pay big bucks if you were willing to go to either place.

I wasn’t keen on going to a foreign country and doing more labor, but I saw a chance to make money, save it, and then go on a sabbatical where I could write for a few months or even a year.

It seemed like a brilliant strategy.

I answered one of the newspaper ads that promised to get me pipeline work at a extraordinary hourly wage. I went in their office, met an upbeat sales person, and ended up giving him all of my money - my entire savings, about a thousand dollars at the time - based on his promise that I’d have overseas pipeline work in a week or two.

You might guess part of what happened next - but you won’t guess all of it.

Within a week or so, the company that took all of my money went out of business.

Their doors were closed, no one answered the phone, and no forwarding addresses could be found.

Shortly after that, the company went bankrupt.

And not long after that, the owner of the company committed suicide.

There was no one left to try to get my money back.

I was alone.

I was broke.

I was in Dallas, far from home.

I confess that my ego got in the way here. My family back in Ohio would have taken me back in and welcomed me back home. But I was head strong and determined to somehow survive.

Well, I did survive - by sleeping in church pews, on the steps of a post office, in a bus station.

It wasn’t an easy time, as you can imagine, and I never used to talk about it. It was too embarrassing.

When I told this story at dinner, everyone agreed I had to share it with you.

They said that people are finding themselves in the same situation - they trusted a government, or a corporation, or a person, or a bank, and now they are losing their homes and their jobs.

Hearing that I went through the same thing three decades ago and not only survived but prospered to a level that the Joe Vitale of thirty years ago could hardly imagine, ought to be inspiring to you, too.

I got off the streets and out of poverty by constantly working on myself - reading self-help books, taking action, scrambling at times by taking whatever work I could find, but always always always focusing on my vision: to one day be an author of books that helped people be happy and stay inspired.

If you’re in a place right now that doesn’t feel so good or seem too safe, I urge you to remind yourself that this is only temporary.

This is the cure for despair.

As I say in my book, this is simply current reality, and current reality can change.

You can help it along by doing what you know and need to do.

But remember, the sun will shine again.

It always does.

Your job right now is to focus on what you want and keep it in sight.

Yes, keep taking action;

yes, stay positive and surround yourself with positive people;

yes, be of support to others.

But remember, if I or anyone else can survive homelessness, poverty, job loss, or any other hard time, then you can survive it, too.

Please hang in there.

One last thing:

I admit that there were times I wanted to throw in the towel and get myself out of this life.

Thank God I stuck around. Had I left early, I would have missed a life of magic and wonder, success and fame I never dreamed of before, priceless relationships and experiences, and more.

I have no idea what wonderful good is headed your way - and neither do you.

What you have to do is stay the course and follow your heart.

And remember -

Expect Miracles.

Ao Akua,

Dr. Joe Vitale

In this articles I’m going to tell you about J signs Vehicle Wraps! The Wraps are done in House at J Signs by Duncan Weir owner of Graphic Gorilla! Now when I got to J signs I had no idea what Vehicle Wraps where, Duncan was more then happy to teach me a little about Wraps.Duncan was working on a Mini Van while I was their placing a wrap on it for a pet care company. Wraps feel almost like a vinyl bumper sticker But of course they are much more state of the art and High tech then that. Duncan had to go to school to learn all about wraps,He also has a Bachelors in fine art,Computer Graphics Specializing in 3-D Graphics. He showed me how the wraps come off in large sheets and then are apply to the Vehicle in pieces and are then heated so they bond to the Vehicle seamlessly. Wraps will stay on till you want to take them off , a wrap can be removed in the future so if you can sell your vehicle one day with out the wrap on it. The paint under the wrap will be as good as the day you placed the wrap on it.

This is just one thing that sets Vehicle Wraps apart from having your Vehicle air brushed! another is the detail of the wraps you get! You can blow up a real photo or have the team at Graphic Gorilla design you up anything from a professional Corporate look to anything your loud and crazy mind can come up with! Vehicle Wraps are not new they have been around a few years and they are huge in California. The quality of wraps has improved greatly over the years and the Wraps that are used at J signs are state of the art.

The average wrap lasts over Five years and if taken care of properly can last up to ten years! I asked Duncan, who are some of the people having their vehicle’s wrapped? He told me many Radio Stations and Travel agencies are having it Done,But many Business are realizing as they sit in traffic for 3 or 4 hours a day and hundreds of people are driving by them in each direction, Wraps really make them stand out and catch the eye of those who could potently be clients. Recently their was a study done that said about 30 to 70 thousand people a month see your Vehicle! Vehicles that are wrapped are remembered up to 80% more! Now More people seeing and remembering your Vehicle translates into more money for you and your company!

Now of course there are many people who want to stand out while just cruising around and they are finding they can have wraps made up of everything from insane designs to their favorite Band,Beverage or Hero and put on their vehicle. Duncan also told me that he can wrap just about anything from Motorcycles,Tool box’s, to walls in your Home!!!

In my opinion wraps are going to be the next big thing! An average Mini Van costs about $3,700 to Wrap that’s an average cost of about $15 a square foot and that price includes 16 hours worth of design time,Printing of the Wrap, The installation of it on your Vehicle and Duncan will also show you how to take care of your Wrap as you never wax it but instead apply a glaze and hand wash it with soap and water. Call Duncan and J Signs at 631-758-0707 to learn more about Vehicle Wraps or check them out on the web at jsignsinc.com

Affiliate Tracking Tips - How It Can Help You

Jan 5, 2009 Author: Lara Crevena | Filed under: Guerrilla Marketing

If you own a retail store or online run an online business that sells a specific service, you may be looking for ways to increase revenue. There are a number of different methods you can use to do this, however, only one method is more effective than most. This method is creating your own affiliate program. To determine if you can benefit from this advertising method, we advise you to find out more. You may find yourself surprised by what you have learned.

Affiliate Programs are designed to connect with webmasters. Webmasters are people who own and operate their own web pages online. Online, there are an unlimited number of websites. Many of these sites have different approaches, but there is a good possibility that some of the websites are, in one way or another, related to your business. By striking an alliance with one of the webmasters, it may be able to increase their own sales. However, to make an alliance with webmasters, who often have to give them something in return. That is where the affiliate programs come in.

With affiliate programs, you will provide webmasters with pre-made banners and links. These banners often show pictures of products or services that you offer for sale. By placing your banners and links on a site associated, especially one who receives a large amount of Internet traffic, you should also see an increase in your page views. If you have a wide choice of goods or services available for purchase, you can also see an increase in sales.

They key to start an affiliate partnership with webmasters is to offer an incentive. The incentive works best is money. By allowing its affiliate partner to make money off of each sale they bring is not only making money, but they also. For many business owners, perhaps including you, the hardest part is getting started. Many business owners automatically assume that it would be very difficult to track how they are generated each sale. This process can be difficult, unless you use tracking software affiliate.

Affiliate tracking software programs are programs that designed to make it easier for all business owners, just like you, to start their own affiliate program. These software programs will often work in conjunction with your links, banners, and your website’s checkout program. Each time that a sale is generated, the software program will automatically outline whether or not that sale was generated through one of your affiliates. In addition to outlining which affiliate, if any, generated the sale, it will also assign the appropriate amount of money to that affiliate. This can be done as soon you enter your business and affiliate information into the software program.

When it comes to obtaining affiliate tracking software, you have to decide what kind of software you want to use. There are a number of individuals and companies that have designed their own unique software. This software can often be purchased for a reasonable price, online. The only problem with this software is that many programs still need to monitor and pay each participant on their own. However, there are other software programs that will be responsible for the issues important to you. This software is often referred to as third party affiliate tracking software.

Third party affiliate tracking software is also known as an affiliate network. This is because these types of companies will not only provide you with affiliate software, but they also monitor almost all aspects of your affiliate program for you. In addition to monitoring and outlining which affiliates helped you to generate sales, it also pays them and keeps a detailed report of those payments. If you are looking for an affiliate software program that requires little or no work, this may be your best option.

Regardless of which affiliate tracking software you choose to use, if you choose to use any at all, you should be able to seen an increase in sales by starting your own affiliate program. With a large number of webmasters looking to make money, you shouldn’t have a difficult time finding affiliates; in fact, many of them will come to you.

Leverage your work day with Automated Income Streams.

Jan 5, 2009 Author: Josh Dill | Filed under: Guerrilla Marketing

Creating automated income streams is a great way to live an abundant life, and it’s not as hard as you may think!

Every one defines wealth differently… Some say it’s having a boatload of money. Others say it’s having enough money to live and the time freedom to do what you please. I say it’s both. The only way your likely to have both is by creating automated income streams that don’t require your presence to earn a daily profit.

There is little or no leverage at all when when it comes to trading time for money. The amount of money your earn is controlled by 2 things: 1) the hourly wage or salary you earn 2) the amount of time you spend on the job.

Now check this out! Lets say you have just 2 automated income streams you have created. Each earns an average of 2-3k per month and each week you spend 5 hours of your time on each A.I.S. (automated income steam). You are earning an average of $5,000 a month! The cool part about this is your only spending 40 hours a month(not a week) on your business. That’s $125 per hour, not to shabby!

Couch potato lazy is not what we are aiming for here. We (I hope you too) are creating leverage in our lives by installing automated income streams. With this leverage comes the ability to do thing that give our lives meaning and purpose.

The goal of an automated income stream is not to change the world. It’s sole purpose is to afford you the time and energy to create something bigger and better. With the extra time and energy you just might just start a company that will change the world. That’s the true power of create automated income streams.

Now days with the internet creating automated income streams is so much easier than in the past. With the countless amount of affiliate marketing opportunities you truly set your own limits.

So many people remain satisfied (mainly because they simply have not searched out the options they have) working 40 plus hours each week. Trading their time for money. Little do they know they have so many options that would provide them a much happier and fulfilling life. Lucky we are not in that group.

The Bay Area is a beautiful place to live and there are plenty of employment opportunities as well. You can look in the local paper employment classifieds, or you can broaden your search by going online and searching employment websites, and there are some devoted to the Bay Area only. This is a good place to start your search. You can broaden to other websites if you cannot find what you are looking for locally.

There is a wealth of job opportunities offered in the Bay Area if you are qualified for them. There are many websites devoted to just Bay Area employment. Many of these websites offer the employee a place to post their resume and any web links to website portfolios.

When looking for a job, apply to only those you know you are qualified for. Look in neighboring cities for employment if it is feasible for you. Look into taking some online classes to earn a degree that will make you more employable. Your job might pay for this, so ask up front if there is a possibility to advance your career with them.

Do not waste your time or an employer’s time by applying to jobs you are not qualified for, the rejection is not good for anyone. If you are not good at interviews look into some free job training. Temp places are a good place to start because they can often lead to permanent employment for you down the road.

Technical and Web related jobs seem to be in high demand as well. This market is going to continue to rise because of the high use of the internet, and the many people that are trying to earn money using the internet. As things continue to get more advanced so will the career opportunities.

An employer should post all of the requirements, a short job description, and years experience needed to get hired for the job. People who do not meet your requirements will not apply and that will help you to not have as many applications to go through. You should post the wage range and whether you offer benefits or not, this may help you to gain better employees.

The point is to match an employer with a qualified employee. Once the match is made the particulars can be discussed. The Internet is a great way for an employer and employee to find out about each other. There is a wider range of job postings and employees needing jobs.

The Bay Area alone on one website has over 4,300 jobs posted in many different areas. That means the jobs are there is you are looking. There should be one in the category you are looking for. Be upfront about your experience and what you can bring to the company, and negotiate if the wage is not quite what you are looking for. There may be raises offered after a trial period.

Blog Comments for SEO Back Links

Jan 4, 2009 Author: Randy The Hermit | Filed under: Search Engine Optimization

It is widely know that getting back links to your site will improve your rankings with the search engines but getting links by leaving blog comments is commonly over looked.

Those of you that aren’t using blog comments for back link have probably heard some on tell you about no follow tags and how the search engines won’t follow the link from comment on blogs.

This is both true and not true at the same time. Yes, a vast majority of the blogs you find will have the no follow tag on the comments. But there are some that don’t have no follow tags.

When WordPress is installed it automatically configures your blog to have no follow tag on comment but there are some blog owners that want you to comment so they will use a plugin to remove the no follow tags, either completely or based on the number of comments you leave.

Go out and post your comments on these blogs but before you do I want to make sure you aren’t leaving spammy comments so here is some blog comments etiquette.

If you are going to leave a comment on the blog MAKE SURE the comment is relevant to the post.

For example if the post is on blog comments your comment should be related to that post and have something to do with the content of the post. Don’t leave a comment talking about how to conquer the newest MLM offering.

You shouldn’t put a link in the body of your comment unless it is directly related to the post and is information that won’t fit in the comment itself, such as a video.

I recommend that you set your blog up so that if there are links in the body of the comment it will go to the comment moderation. This way you will have to approve the comment before it shows up on your blog. This will keep the spammy comments of your blog.

Where the comment form asks for your name that should be your name, don’t stuff it with keywords. You can use a pseudonym, I use Randy The Hermit because most people know me by that. Your pseudonym can have keywords in it, if the keywords are related to you or your business only. And it should stay the same on every comment. Besides if the no follow tags are in place the keywords won’t help you in the search engines.

That is a general overview of blog etiquette but you should never do anything in a blog comment that you wouldn’t want done on your blog. Even with the no follow tags you should still be posting comments, I bet you are wondering why?

There are a few reasons why you should leave comments even if there are no follow tags, such as:

1.It is still a link to your site that people will see and possibly follow. If you leave 5 blog comments per day that is 1,500 links in a year that might catch the eye of the reader and could get you traffic.

2.If you are posting relevant comments people will remember your name and you will start to build a reputation for yourself, especially if you only used one name.

3.Just like above if your comment is interesting people will click on your link out of curiosity just to see what else you have to say.

4.Some of the ad services and search engines, like Ask (the last time I checked) don’t read the no follow tag. With the ad services this means that you site will look more relevant and it could lead to higher pay outs on your ads.

If comments have the no follow tag activated how do you tell?

The most obvious way is to find a comment and look at the page source, pour through all the code looking for the link on the name and seeing if the no follow tag is in the link. This will drive you crazy if you do it a lot of times but it does work.

A better way is to use an addon for the FireFox or Flock browser (these are the browsers you should be using). This addon is called SEO for FireFox it is provided by SEOTools.com or you can find it by searching for SEO for FireFox addon in Google.

This addon will give you a bunch of information that can be used for SEO but the one feature that we are interested in now is the no follow highlighting. What it does is look at all the links on the page your viewing and highlights all the no follow links in red. If the name in the blog comment isn’t red then the no follow is shut off on that blog.

People that run WordPress blogs want you to leave comments and they don’t want spam comments so a lot of them have started using a plugin that rewards the people that comment frequently, this plugin is called Lucia’s Linky Love.

After they install this plug in the blog master can set it so that the no follow tag will be removed from the comments for people that comment a certain number of times.

It checks the name and email address to see if this person has ever commented before and keeps track of all the ones that match. If you use different names (which has already been pointed out as a no no) or different emails you will never have the no follow tags removed.

The owner of the site can set the limit from 3 to whatever they feel like but most of the time if they are using the plugin it is set from 3 to 5. This means you will have to leave a relevant comment 3 to 5 times before the no follow tag is removed but when it is removed it is removed from any comments you make from there on.

Now I bet you want to know how this will help you when you are leaving comments. You can actually find posts that are using Lucia’s Linky Love but doing a search in Googles Blogsearch. Put your keyword phrase in quotes then a plus sign (+) then in quotes Lucia’s Linky and you should find posts on topic that use this plugin. Make the minimum number of comments plus 1 and you now have start creating back links followed by all the search engines.

On the blogs I use this on you will need to post 4 times to get a link back to your site. I read the comments and I delete the spammy ones so the people just trying to get the right number of posts never make it. This encourages more comments and usually adds good information.
